BIO

Jessica Taylor (b. 1990, Torquay, England) holds an MFA in Studio Art (2016). Her work exlores themes of presence and disappearance. Through drawing and painting, she creates environments that evoke memory, loss, and intimacy.

Rooted in observation, her practie moves fluidly into the psychological and metaphysical. Botanical forms dissolve into ghostly masses, landscapes blur into emotional terrains, and maternal figures become icons of both strength and fragility.

When not in her studio, you’ll likely find her experimenting with questionable flavor combinations in the kitchen or studying languages - currently Arabic.

Jessica lives and works in Germany.
